New Porsche Boxster Spyder comes in for a New Car Detail and lots of paint protection! This 2016 Boxster Spyder edition has plans to see lots of time on road course tracks all over Florida. So we had to apply as much protection as possible!
- Light Paint Correction (2 stages)
- Xpel Ultimate Paint Protection Film (PPF): full hood, fenders, mirrors, and A-pillars
- Crystal Serum BLACK w/ 3 coats of EXO
- Gtechniq L1 Interior Leather Guard
- Gtechniq I1 Fabric Guard
- Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armor topped with C2V3
- Gtechniq C4 Trim Restorer and Protection
Complete paint work decontamination – First step is a foam pre-soak.
Second step of decontamination – Iron deposit and fall out remover.
After its full decontamination, headlights and wheels are removed and stored safely, badges and trim work are taped. Paint work is now ready for correction. Tape indicates defects in the paint work.
Light Paint Correction was needed to achieve great results. 8hrs total was put in for this minor correction.
Interior was protected with Gtechniq’s line of interior and soft top protection. I1 Smart Fabric was applied to all of Porsche’s Alcantara materials. L1 applied to the remaining leather parts and door cards.
All door jambs and truck hood underbody were lightly polished and protected with Gtechniq C2V3 spray sealant. Total protection is a MUST!
Gtechniq’s C5 wheel armor applied to the Porsche’s wheel faces and inner barrels. Calipers were also coated.
Front Bumper, A-pillars, Full Hood and Fenders were wrapped in Xpel Ultimate paint protection film or clear bra. Remaining areas (film included) were coated in Gtechniq Crystal Serum. Three Layers of Gtechniq EXO were applied. The EXO coatings will ensure a super slick surface whilst making post-track cleaning sessions much easier.
Its entire front end wrapped in Xpel Ultimate.
