We got our first Tesla Model S! This ultimate electric daily driver was in dire need of some Superior Detailer love. We searched for the best protection, per the owner’s request. The Tesla already had 4000 miles of hard driving, so a multiple step paint correction was in order. The ceramic composite coating applied was created by Gtechniq. Paint work, brightwork, wheels, brake calipers, interior, windows, and headlights were protected with Gtechniq’s complete line of surface products.

The first step in this detail was the decontamination wash process, which you can see below.

Next up, the paint correction process.

At Superior Detailer, we take great pride in the meticulous prep work involved in taping off all delicate portions of the Tesla during the paint correction stage.

Wheels were pulled off, and then a protective coating was applied to each wheel and brake caliper.

Base layer of Crystal Serum applied to exterior paint. Final layer of Gtechniq’s EXO has yet to be applied.

Interior was treated with Gtechniq’s L1 leather guard and L1 fabric guard to restore the brand new interior car feel as well as preserve the upholstery.

And there you have it, the finished product.  This black Tesla Model S looks better than when it was new and will be protected against the elements for many years to come.
